![]() For example, at the start of the Buu Saga, Goku had to rely on Baba's magical powers to come back to Earth for one day, while if he had the current level of Instant Transmission he could have just teleported to New Namek and used the planet's Dragon Balls to wish himself back to life (if being dead did not prevent him from doing so, something that has not been clearly explained). This means that the limitations on Goku's Instant Transmission established in Dragon Ball Z have been removed, even if they had been pretty useful to limit that otherwise overpowered ability. While it's not possible to establish how far away Goku and Vegeta's spaceship is from New Namek, the fact that Goku and Vegeta only learn about the new, stronger Namekians when they are on the planet proves that Goku could not sense their ki before. Upon arrival, he said 'I need a Senzu bean, can't explain why, just need it now' to which Korrin replied with 'Whoa Goku, alright, let me get the bean' and he left. It isn't until after Goku and Vegeta are first defeated by Moro later on and wake up three days later that they learn that, during this time, some Namekians have been assimilating with each other to form stronger warriors. to which Goku replied with 'Can't talk, sorry, Whis and I will explain later' and, within a second, had used Instant Transmission to travel to Korrin's lookout. At this point, there is no indication that there are any Namekians with high enough ki for Goku to lock onto. Because their spaceship is much too far away, Goku is forced to rely on Instant Transmission and is able to teleport there with Vegeta. ![]() Not only that, but it amounted to a thrilling introduction for a now-iconic character. In Dragon Ball Super chapter #44, when following Moro on a Galactic Patrol spaceship with Jaco and Meru, Goku realizes that the villain is headed for New Namek and could touch down at any minute. ![]() Even if it didn’t need to happen, Future Trunks cutting Frieza in half and blowing him to pieces is still considered one of the most shocking moments. And while a confrontation would have been interesting to see, it wouldn’t have been able to compare with what Dragon Ball Z delivered. Though Goku’s fight with Frieza is considered to be one of the most challenging battles he’s ever endured, a rematch in the Android Saga would have been extraordinarily lopsided. Since Dragon Ball Z’s Goku had a no-killing rule, it’s unclear if he destroyed them unintentionally, Vegeta finished them off, or Goku just drove them off the planet. Frieza and his father dying as a result of their battle was implied, but not explicitly confirmed. Since Goku’s fight with Future Trunks proved that the former was still the stronger fighter, there’s no doubt that even with King Cold around, Goku would have had as little difficulty as Trunks did in beating them. After Trunks's grand arrival and flashy defeat of Frieza and his father King Cold, he warned Goku of two androids that would come and kill everyone close to him and more. I am not convinced that this item is indeed authentic and was disappointed that after. Another plot hole brought about during the sagas starring the android menace came very early in the saga. Item arrived but was not in original box as stated in description. ![]() Their defeats simply happened at the hands of a different Super Saiyan. 9 Future Trunks' Warning Wasn't About Android 17 Or 18. In other words, Mecha-Frieza and King Cold would have been defeated regardless of what Trunks did at the beginning of his Dragon Ball Z arc.
